SHOE CARE
How to care for your Tsonga Shoes
With a little care, your Tsonga shoes can be enjoyed for years to come. Different sole materials require slightly different care, but the most important thing is simple: wear them often, keep them clean and let them dry naturally.
Caring for PU SOLES
PU (polyurethane) soles are lightweight, flexible, comfortable and durable, with excellent water and abrasion resistance.
To clean them, gently remove dirt with a soft scrubbing brush, then wipe with a damp cloth. Allow them to dry naturally in a cool, shaded and dry place. Never dry PU soles in direct sunlight or near artificial heat.
PU can deteriorate when shoes are stored for long periods without being worn, particularly in humid or coastal environments. This is known as hydrolysis. To help prevent this, clean your shoes before storing them, avoid prolonged storage in their boxes and, most importantly, wear your Tsonga shoes regularly.
Caring for TR SOLES
TR (thermoplastic rubber) soles are lightweight, flexible and comfortable, with good grip and non-slip properties. They're also highly durable and recyclable.
For everyday care, simply wipe away dirt with a damp cloth and allow the soles to dry naturally. Avoid excessive heat when drying or storing your shoes.
FAQ
Answers to your Questions
How can I place an order?
1. Select the shoe you would like, choose your size and select Add to Cart.
2. Follow the prompts to complete your order. To purchase more than one pair, select SHOP in the top left corner, then Shop All to continue shopping. Repeat the steps above to add another item to your cart, then proceed to checkout.
How do I know what size I am?
Not sure what size you are? Not a problem. Tsonga has created a helpful size guide to help you make the right selection.
How do I return my shoes or exchange them for another pair?
For information about returns and exchanges, please see our Exchanges & Returns policy.
Do I have to pay for shipping to return or exchange my shoes?
Yes. As Tsonga receives returns and exchanges from across Australia and New Zealand, we cannot currently offer free return shipping.
We do, however, cover the cost of sending your new pair to you when completing an exchange.
How long do I have to return or exchange my shoes?
You have 30 days to return or exchange your shoes. If there is a genuine reason you have been unable to return your shoes within this timeframe, please contact our support team at hello@tsonga.com.au to see if an extension is possible.
My shoes are damaged or poor quality
Very occasionally, something happens and your Tsonga shoes may become damaged or show an issue with quality within a short amount of time. We understand how frustrating this can be.
The best way to report an issue is through our Product Complaint Form. This comes directly to our team and gives us the information we need to understand the situation and resolve it as quickly as possible.
Please note that product complaints received directly by email will be redirected to the complaint form before our customer care team can assist.
Are your shoes 'Bunion Safe'?
Tsonga shoes are designed for comfort but are not specifically designed with bunions in mind. We therefore avoid advising on specific foot conditions, as every individual and every bunion is different. Suitability will depend on the size and location of the bunion.
I received the wrong shoes!
Oh no! Although we do our best to get every order right, mistakes can occasionally happen.
The best way to resolve this is to lodge an exchange request through our Exchanges & Returns portal and select Incorrect Item Received when prompted for the reason.
Once submitted, please email hello@tsonga.com.au so we can arrange compensation for the postage required to return the shoes.
